What sort of artwork do you need from me for my custom printing order?

We need your corporate logo or custom design in a vector format—usually .ai or .eps files. This ensures that we can resize your artwork without worrying about any loss of resolution in the process. Unfortunately, we cannot print custom apparel using art from Word, Excel, Power Point, or Publisher software. Other common—but typically unusable—formats include .gif, .jpg, and .bmp files. If you have questions about acceptable file formats for your custom printed apparel or embroidered clothing, don’t hesitate to get in touch at contactus@scapegoatink.com.

What if I don’t have the right kind of art file for my custom t-shirt order?
Not to worry. We won’t let anything stand in the way of your custom printed apparel. There might be other sources you haven’t considered yet. Oftentimes the correct art file is available from the person who designed your corporate logo, the company that printed your business cards, or within your company’s marketing department. If they don’t have it, just send us what you have, and we can recreate your corporate logo for a small additional fee.

Can you create original artwork for my custom printed t-shirt?
Of course! Just let us know what you're looking for, and we will make it happen.

Do you charge for art preparation for my custom printed apparel?
If your corporate logo needs to be recreated, ScapeGoat Ink will charge is $50/hour for art preparation. Most art redesigns take 30 minutes. We will estimate any costs and submit them for your approval before we proceed.

Will I get a chance to approve my custom tshirt order?
We will not proceed with your custom printing order until you have provided us with written approval of your electronic art proof via e-mail.

When I’m ready to hire ScapeGoat Ink for my custom printed apparel, where do I send my art file?
You should send your artwork in the approved formats to contactus@scapegoatink.com. Remember to include your organization and contact information in your e-mail, so we can stay in touch during this process.

Can you match a specific color in my corporate logo for my custom printed shirts?
In addition to standard print colors, we can match any PMS color codes to help you maintain the integrity of your corporate brand. We will charge you a nominal fee for this service, depending on the size of your order.

Can you guarantee color matching in the custom imprint on my tshirts?
We can’t guarantee that the colors you use in your artwork will match perfectly. In truth, no one can. White ink on gray shirt may appear differently than on a red shirt. However, we will take every precaution to insure that your print job looks the best that it can.
